Maine Fire is a leader in the life safety industry. We are a full-service company providing specialized fire protection, life safety, and fire alarm services to customers throughout Maine and New Hampshire. Our dedicated team of licensed and experienced professionals handles installations, service, inspections, testing, and maintenance for both commercial and residential properties. We are looking for an open-minded, self-motivated individual to lead our Electronic Division into the future, specializing in fire alarm and detection, nurse call systems, video surveillance (CCTV), patient wandering systems, access control systems, and much more!
Job Summary:
Take full responsibility for the Electronic Division. Supervise the technical and administrative personnel of the Division. Achieve financial and operational goals of the Electronic Division, including revenue generation, cost control, and gross margin contribution. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction for all customers. Ensure the proper training and safe working procedures of the technical staff.
This position reports to the CCO. The Division Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of this department. They will supervise technical and administrative personnel to achieve all financial and operational goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the Operations Manager and other managers to develop financial and operational goals.
- Ensure the effective operation of the Electronic Division and the efficiency of all personnel.
- Organize projects, contracts, and service proposals.
- Order contract and proposal parts.
- Track job costs and commissions.
- Review timesheets and all billing.
- Establish productivity goals for technical and administrative personnel that fit in with the tactical priorities of the division.
- Lead the technical and administrative personnel in providing a high level of customer service.
- Ensure that the technical personnel are highly trained in our services and products as well as safety.
- Learn and ensure compliance with all applicable industry codes.
- Protect the company’s assets.Perform any other tasks assigned by CCO or Managing Member.
- Promote all aspects of the company to customers.
- Expand and develop existing and new territories.
Job Requirements:
- Possess any necessary licensing and certification required by national, state, and local codes.
- Minimum 3-5 years of related electronic management experience.
- NICET level II preferred.
- Working knowledge of NFPA standards.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, program schematics, and operational/product manuals.
- Proficiency with PCs, including working knowledge of MS Excel/Word, as well as iPhone/iPad apps.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
- Self-starter who can work with little to no supervision.
- Assist with estimating and billing.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
